My name is Shannon McVay. I am a father, friend, software engineer, sports enthusiast, and many other things all rolled into one. I currently work for CTPartners, but this blog and its content and opinions are my own.
I went to Cleveland State University and majored in Business Administration (with a concentration in accounting). I also took quite a few computer science classes. After starting out in public accounting, I decided that I was much more interested in the computer science field and switched careers.
I am a diehard Cleveland sports fan. The Cleveland Browns are my number one team, but I also follow the Cleveland Indians and the Cavs. I also enjoy following just about any good NFL or college football game. Although I don't play any organized sports anymore, my kids keep me pretty busy with their activities. They are into soccer, t-ball, softball, and basketball.
